Our History
Slochowsky & Slochowsky, LLP was established in 1950. For over 71 years, we have specialized in Landlord-Tenant and related Real Estate litigation, regulatory and administrative proceedings, as well as Supreme Court and Appellate litigation.
The firm has represented clients in the real estate industry since its inception, including but not limited to owners, managers, developers, and other associated concerns and businesses in the real estate industry.
Our steadfast loyalty to our clients, as well as the numerous successes we have achieved on their behalf, has yielded many decades-long, high-value attorney-client relationships with industry leaders. As such, the firm is known as one of the leading Landlord-Tenant and Real Estate law practices in the five boroughs of New York City.
Here at Slochowsky & Slochowsky, we provide zealous representation from the inception of each matter, strategically targeted to achieve favorable results, and focused on the particular requirements and objectives of each client.
Our experienced staff proactively and attentively manages each client’s pending litigation from inception through conclusion, while keeping clients apprised of each milestone in their case. Each of our clients has a dedicated client manager who monitors their cases and is available on a regular basis to communicate about the progress of their matters.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, all of us in the real estate industry have experienced challenges with managing real property, maintaining legal proceedings, navigating the court system, and with other issues related to the ownership and management of commercial and residential properties.
As attorneys, we cannot alter recently enacted laws, temporary or otherwise, that have been enacted due to the pandemic. Together with our clients, our firm strives to develop and implement cost-effective strategies that ease or simplify the management of those changes and achieve optimal results in difficult situations.
